Deconstruction and Sorting, Feb 2009
Deconstruction and Sorting, Feb 2009
In January and February I "turned out" all of the shelves and plastic storage bins under the quilting frame. This led to sorting out all of the wools for rug hooking, and some additional deconstruction of old skirts and coats. This was so much fun that I looked around for more deconstruction and decided on the "princess quilt" bins with the party dresses made of fancy fabrics. This was even more fun, studying all of the construction details inside, in about a dozen dresses in a range of eras and quality. All of the deconstructing reduced the bulk of the goods considerably too.
